  • Mommy Secret #1

Starting from pregnancy there are things NO ONE will tell you regarding certain experiences you'll encounter.  The first secret I want to expose has been repeatedly confirmed by many other mothers I've asked.  I was shocked to hear others had the same experience with their baby/toddler.  I can understand why people wouldn't talk about it because you could consider it a private matter.   But I must expose this secret!!!

What is it already, you ask?  Mommy Secret #1:  Babies play with your nipples!!!  Let me specify.  They will twist, flick, squeeze, twirl, push in, pull out your chi chis!  I always thought it was unique to my Hannah, but when I brought it up to mothers, they normalized my experience and had the same sentiment (It's a bit annoying).  This usually happens with babies who nurse.  And it makes sense from a baby's POV...out of curiousity, comfort and fun.  But no one has ever told me this!  Which is also understandable also.  It's not something  you just say..."My baby plays with my nipples!"  And then get the weird and awkward response.

    And now you know.

    I know, I know... TMI.

You may now have your weird and awkward response.

  • Hannah laughing

We are so blessed to have a happy baby.  It sounds so cheezy but I love her more as each day passes.  This is from last month and Jae is making her laugh.  Don't feel obligated to watch the whole thing...she starts to give Jae sympathy laughs at the end.  heehee!

  • Hannah making her mark!

So we decided to go to our favorite japanese restuarant in Downey.  Hannah sat next to us on a chair in the car seat.  When we were leaving and lifted the car seat off the chair, we noticed something that looked like water on the base of the chair.  We thought outloud, "That's weird, we didn't see anything wet earlier."  Didn't think anything of it.  In the car, Jae asked me if I farted.  I vehemently denied it (as I always do).  My sense of smell isn't the best.  Didn't think anything of it.  But when we got home to take her out of the seat...DEAR JESUS!  Poo and pee EVERYWHERE on her clothes, on her body, on the car seat cover, on the car seat, all over my hands in the process of trying to clean her.  I think I ended up using like 15 wipes.  We eventually decided to give her a bath because it was just too much.  I was contemplating on calling the restaurant in case somebody sits on the chair, but I was too embarrassed!  Oh Hannah...I guess her assplosion was just too powerful for the diaper to handle.

I wonder if she'll get mad at me when she gets older and reads this...
